Hi everyone,
I had passed the step 1 .my score 93/223.
Thanks to all the members .
I prepared for 3 months, fulltime job+ pregnant wife. last two weeks intensive preparation.
I read Kaplan home study/usmle world/first Aid/ goljan CD.I did not have any study partner.
first i studied organ systems in homestudy and did the USMLE world. Like that completed all the systems, read the most common and slides/histology pictures in First aid.Did revise the usmle worls twice. I got nearly 90% towards the end of my preparation and was happy to see a score of 93 in the end.
Concentrated more on physiology/pharmacology/pathology.
In my exams i did get lot of MRI(identify the posterior cruciate ligament), Electron microscope pictures to identify mitochondrion/nucleolus.Not much in stastistics, 10 - 15 questions from Behavioural science. questions from genetics was a lot harder for me.
Did eat a lot of fruits and vegetable, moderate exercise, 6 hours sleep a day.
