hi , can somebody tell me whether it is possible to extend my visitor visa in the us ,im currently having a visitor visa which is expiring in september ,im planning to take the step 2 cs exam in october and planning to go to america in august ,and is it possible to attend the exam and courses if possible in the us with my visitor visa.thanks for ur advice

How long you can stay in the US is stated in your I-94 form, the expiration date in your visa doesn´t tell how long you can stay. The expiration date on the visa means that you can enter the US up to that date, not that you can stay up to that date. Check out your I-94. If you go in August, and the officer at the port of entry gives you, lets say, 6 months, you can stay in the US all those six months even though your visa expires in September. Visa is only to enter, not how long you can stay. So be sure to tell the officer at the port of entry that you will stay until October.
