Hi guys,
is there anyone who applies for a J1-Visa?
I matched with a nice residency program and now I am worried about the process to get a J1-Visa. I live in Germany with my mum. I have two halfsisters in the U.S.. Most people get the J1-Visa for a residency, right? I mean do they just look at the family and where they live and then think about rejection? It is not my fault that my halfsisters live there. Is there anyone who can share experiences and point of views? Please help.

Isn't there anyone who can share his or her point of view or experiences? Please!

First - DO NOT LIE ANYTHING!!! Second: DO NOT SAY ANYTHING THAT YOU ARE NOT ASKED!!! Third - YOU'RE IN BEST SITUATION, AND DO NOT WORRY:-))

OK. go to the interview like as you was 100% sure of visa approval, answer the questions only you are asked. If you'll be asked about your halfsisters, you just answer very briefly, that they live there, but indicate somehow, that this has nothing to do with your residency. Tell them, that after completion of your residency program, you'll be definitely back to your country. What I want to say is that, they usually tend to dig into relatives in US, but main thing is that you have matched, which really does not has anything to do with that. Be sure that you'll get a visa. :-)) let me know if I can help in any way. Good luck
