Hello Guys,

I went through my first through reading of Kaplan Internal medicine. I gave my Internal Assesment exam and got a score of 61% (46/75). I am hughly disappointed. Not sure where i am with that type of assesment score. Is that a NORMAL score for first read. shall i give a second read again.

some guidence is appreciated.

thanks.

hello vemi:

what is all this disappointment
nothing happened for all of this...,
why do you think they call it 1st reading?!....,because there is 2nd one and third one,
and if you were going to get 100% from the 1st reading then every one in the world would be happy.

just look forward and continue studying as you are planning and when the time of 2nd reading comes...,you will get better score and much better with the 3rd one

just don't be disappointed at all and continue as you are planning

I have another point to add...
First, what is the source of your trial exam? Some of these sources are aimed to make you confused and unsteady in your beliefs in yourself and prompt you to buy their products... Are you a med student, or already practice? This also makes a difference in your perception of the study materials...
I am sure your knowledge is good but haven't become solid yet... Take your time, consolidate your knowledge by reading UW Qs, and believe in yourself... Kap notes are great, but add to them Step up to medicine or any other textbook... Cheer up, man...grin
