Alright this can be a Meningioma which is Compressing the Medial Surface of the hemisphere n will produce leg weakness n spasticity along with Focal Seizures ( Parasagittal Meningioma)

the location of the hypodense area n relatively less compression of the area surroundings n common locations of a meningioma.

if it is meningioma
which is not invasive tumor
wouldn't it be compression of left side of brain with visible deformation of lateral ventricle?

i wud say it looks like hemorrhage...blood does not look black on CT...air does. blood will look more dense and white. and this does not have the shape of a meningioma...does not look like it...but well yu cannot say much based on just one image of CT without any history. meningioma can also look like that and would enhance(become more white) on injecting contrast.
if this patient has a history of trauma, hypertension, development of sudden symptoms then i wud think more in terms of hemorrhage.

  #13

lets discuss about what symptoms this pt will have.
i'd say headache, personality changes...
i'm sure others will do much better than i did on listing the symptoms this pt will havesmiling face

  #14

Thanks to Rock i have corrected a mistake i wrote yes Air Appears Black. Hemorrhage appears as a Bright Hyperdense area on the MRI n CTs

meningioma.
contralat spasticity and weakness of the leg.

  #21

Its a Meningoma ..

MC site in Convexities of the hemispheres ...

Arises from Arachnoid granulations ...

Attatched to the dura and cpmpresses the underlying brain without invasion ...

Midroscopic - Psomma bodies ....

Signs depend on the site ... but as nnl wrote will produce leg weakness n spasticity along with Focal Seizures ..

Cheerz !
