hi.i am going to appear in usmle step 2 cs on 16th may n than will return back to pakistan to appear in ck in august...than i want to go to usa for observership in august...but one of my friend has said tht home deptt of pakistan will not allow me to go usa frequntly..is it true

the Home Dept of PAkistan Has nothing to do with it its the American Consulate which handles ur Visa if they grant u the visa which is very unlikely they will u can come here n work in Observership. Normally ppl come from PAkistan on visit Visas n try to get observerships but if u look at the End result the Observership is not that highly regarded cos the Program Directors know that u havent been involved in the process actively as a Doctor but as onlooker n to them it can be anybody but still its something to have rather than nothing furthermore work on ur Medical Experiences in Pakistan n if u do get in US then go for the Physician Assistant Job cos that may get u a LOR from a US Doctor. which can improve ur chances at MATCH.

then whts ur hurry to go back to Pak stay here n go for the Hands On Clinical Experience Get ur self a Work Permit then u will have no Problems at all.

Why do u need to go back to Pakistan when u have 5yrs multiple u can go back after 6 mnths of stay in US Stay here n work ur way thru. U r the Luckiest person on Earth to have the visas n the opportunity to have it dont waste it by going back to Pakistan n then coming back Unless u have Inherited loads n loads money. Buddy be n get serious in life cos the next decision u r gonna make is going to decide wht can u do abt ur future

if you have 5 year multiple then you can come back as many times as possible and go back. Why do you think that home department will stop you doing that. What is home department anyway? Is it like Home office of UK?
Everytime when you enter US you will have to satisfy the immigration officer about the reason of your visit. You need to make sure that you comply with requirement by State department depending on you country of origin. Also you need to make sure that you get exit stamp everytime when you leave US.
