Answer is 1

B-Lymphocytes do not require always help from T-helpers in order to response to produce antibodies.T-independent antigens .such as polysaccharides that comprise bacterial capsule, are not readily processed and presented to T-helpers.However these type of antigens can directly activate B-cells by crosslinking B-cell antigen receptors.crosslinked antigens gets aggregated at one pole of cell by the process called "capping"resulting in transmission of single sufficent for B-cell activation.Nearly all of teh antibody produced is M(IgM) and kinetic of production resemble a primary response.B-cell differentiation occurs in two phases1. antigen independent phase and 2nd antigen dependent phase, during which activated B-cells differentiated into antibody-secreting plasmcytes.

Monomeric IgM embbeded in cytoplasm membrane of each immunocompetent B-cells and acts as highly specific B-cell antigen receptor.in addition to the seretion of antibodies B-cells acn present antigen to CD4+ T-cells.the surface IgM efficiently traps antigen which is then engulfed by B-cells by endocytosis9B-cells are not capable of phagocytosis).the engulfed antigen is processed and critical peptides are present on the B-cell surface in teh context of major histicompatible complex( MHC) class II molecule.

The bone marrow, central lymphoid organ,is the major site of B-cell maturation and the maturation process involves assistance from bone marrow stromal cells.
