This is a REal Easy one. A 70-year-old woman presented with episodic impairment of consciousness. What is the most likely cause? 1) Alzheimer type dementia 2) Chronic sub-dural hematoma 3) Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease 4) Depressive stupor 5) Normal pressure hydrocephalus

This is the classical presentation of subdural hematoma. Headache, drowsiness and confusion are common and often fluctuate. Both dementia and depressive stupor (immobile, mute, unresponsive but fully conscious) are not associated with impaired consciousness. Normal pressure hydrocephalus is characterized by dementia, apraxia and urinary incontinence.
