hi, i am a new graduate from international medical school and i wanna start my usmle but i need help with ur experience, i dont know which step is better to start with ?is it step 2 or step 1 and why? thanks for ur help

Joujo4u this is just my opinion of course, but I think it's better to start with step 1 for couple of reasons, first it is harder and there is more material to cover for it, and it's better to do it when you are still fresh and full of energy, second as it is basic material it helps in reading step 2 also, and finally I guess for some programs your step 1 score is more important , but again this is what I think, good luck

Hi joujo4u, I think also it's better to begin with the step 1;there are 1 year since I was graduated and I already start with the step 1 because it's more harder ,it cover the basic sciences,consequently it'wii be more easier to me to understand the other steps.Inversely,I think you'll have more difficulty to understand the step 1 after the step 2,and will take more time to do.
