Classical long thoracic nerve injury, resulting winged scalpula while pushing an immovable object. The nerve innervates m. serratus anterior which together with m rhomboideus major forms a muscle belt and pulls the scalpula towards the trunk. During pushing you need to immobilize your scalp in order to transform the momentum from the shoulder to the albue, to the hand. If case of lesion of LT nerve everytime you push your scalps pull away from the trunk and no momentum is generated. Also boxers have very strong m. seratus anterior muscles because of the same reason.
