c.......Alv vent is similar to that of normal y wud it change the PAO2 in the Dude without the carotid bodies y wud it change the guys my reasoning is that the initial response to high altitudes is hyperventilation which a direct reaction to the Dec in PaO2 (arterial PO2) this response is mediated by Carotid bodies so y wud his response be increased. there will be no efffect. the effect of Acclimization will occur but wont be very potent
