Hi guys,
There is a psych program which has an opening ! is it ok to take it on a J1 and then later switch the program in the second year to IM or neuro??what are the factors does it depend on changing the program??

You can change if your program director is ready to let you go, its a little risky but possible. You cant change your j1 status even if you change the specialty.

i wud take it as 1st yr psych is mostly im
however i wudnt b too sure about leaving that place and going elsewhere. many psych pds have been burnt this way. however u can always consider double boarding in psych adn im..
