Has any one with a I-797 approval attended the H1 interview so far/ knows someone who's done it?
How about discussing the homework before the interview?
(I gather that there is no 214(b) rejection for H1. Relief!
But a 221(g)= 'case needs further verification' can unnecessarily delay things)

from what i know 221 g is incomplete documentation and mainly given to IT workers and people going for jobs in private sector where there is no adequate proof of profit and income tax returns of companies.
in our case since hospital are not for profit and pretty much established there is no chance of favoring an h1 worker to avoid paying higher pay to americal citizens. so i doubt that 221 g willl be a problem.
