Nope, you cannot change from a J1 visa to an H1b visa.

Get a waiver position from an employer who will sponsor your green card.

bbb I would like to be an endocrinologist and endocrine surgeon at the same time, so i would like to study 3 years of im 2 of endocrinology 5 of general surgery and 1 of endocrine surgery. as an im pc does it sound stupid to u? with a j1 visa could i study the 11 years? I'll return to my county to work but i really I’d love to train in the US. Sincerely what do u think?
