2 and 3..........failure to obtain asignificant increase in art Po2 is diagnostic of pulmonary shunt

During Inspiration the
IPP goes from -5 to -8 ( Technically it decreases)
Lung Recoil goes from 5 to 8 it will have to balance the IPP bnut in different direction
Compliance it follow the IPP
Abd Muscles r of Expiration

2 giving it Inc 100% O2 is of limited value cos the blood is not flowing thru thr Pul Art.

3. V/Q scans mot reliable tests
