I have got married3 months ago and my spouse has applied for my EAD & SSN.My fingerprints has been taken last wk.Now expected Ead is b/w 2-4 wks.I havegot matched in my no1 choice which I dont wanna loose in any situation.Now my hospital need my SSN.What should be my action in this situation.Can they understand or am I making any sense.
Plz help.Very tensed rt now.

When i came here i had a Similar Situation although it wasnt regarding Match Hopital. Normally After 2-3 wks of Applying for SSN they have it on their own Setup i.e they might have issued u a Number n ur SSN is in th eprocess of getting mailed in this case u simply go to the SSN office ask them they will tell u n u can get letter from them stating that u have applied n this is ur SSN number. The Other case is that the SSN ppl give u a letter telling u have applied n u will Get ur SSN no in a couple of Wks.
Ask Ur Hospital n show them the Documents provided by SSN office They Will Understand Without Doubt cos every one knows that these things take time I m Sure they will understand.

EAD i m dont Know Abt but SSN = Social Security Number

EAD IS Employment Authorization Document.
Thanks new n lost for ur suggestion.So u think I shall go a head and explain them the whole situation. I am hoping that my hospital admin can understand my situation.Plz do lemme know if anyone else wanna give any advice.I will be thankful.
And how much time usually it takes to send Ead after fingerprinting.

you dont have no choice but to explain.
This is not a big deal. There is usually a receipt when you apply for ssn and also you can call the customer service and they will be able to give you your number over the phone.

Have you talked with your program and told them that you have applied for it, but don't have it yet?
