I sent in the forms to my certificate and it's taking forever, it's been like 2 weeks. How long does it usually take to get the certificate once you submit the necessary stuff?

if medical education credentials hav been verified by your med school , then the ecfmg certificate is issued as soon as you hav all 3 results i.e step 1, ck and cs...it takes around 10-14 days to be issued.

My case:
CS reported on Jan 31 (passed s1, Ck and credentials verified)
Certificate issued on Feb 5
Delivered by Fedex at home on Feb 7.
So you got an idea.

so they sent your certificate automatically after you passed all exams?
I had to send in some forms to verify my medical education w/ my school. Why did u not have to do that?

They did have to send some forms to my med-school to verify my credentials (but it's long time ago).
Once ECFMG verified your credentials and you passed the 3 exams (s1, s2ck and cs), they send the certificate to you automatically.

my credentials were not verified by the time i got my step 2 cs results. I got my cs results on august 16th and I sent my verified credentials by september 1st and my ecfmg certificate was issued on october 2nd. I got it by fedex on 5th. Hope this helps

Thanks for all your responses.
It's taking forever for my school to receive the verification form, according to OASIS it was sent out on March 21, but my school has still not received it. I think it's been lost somehow but ECFMG refuses to send another one until 30 days have elapsed. I guess there's nothing I can do except wait.

finally got the issue resolved. The nice lady at my school requested the resend and they listened to her. Now my medical education credentials have been verified and I should be expecting my certificate shortly. Thanks everyone.
