tell him you understand his being concerned about the medical cost, that you are not sure but you can refer him to the socal worker who can help with the cost issues.

sss sss is right, you should tell that you are not aware of details of costs, but social worker will help the pt.and also emphasis on importance of hospitaization or the test or whatever is that she/he has to do...
