Understanding the basic anatomy and physiology of red and white muscle:
Subtype of skeletal muscle:
Type 1: Slow twiching muscle rich in mitochondria and myoglobin. It also has a rich blood supply.it has give a longer aerobic glycolysis.less acc of lactic acid and can work longer. These are red muscle.Ocular muscle are from this group.
Type 2: Here there are 3 types...2a,2b,2x
Varying in mitochondria and myoglobin but is less than type1.Also not more cappilaries makes it pale hence white muscle. These are the fastest muscle but then anerobic glycolysis and acc of lactic acid is faster.

I was sure that the extraocular muscles are white muscle but looking at the discussion wanted to search in google and it says there are both white and red component in it, for fast and slow movements of the eye respectively.
( more white fibers than red ).
