In supracondylar fractute could be injured median nerve or radial nerve ( rare).

Based what I learned in step 1 it should be median nerve, but the answer provided by UW is D. I am a little bit confused.

now the answer is right

The 2 major complications of supracondylar fractures in children include cubitus varus which is relatively common, and vascular injury, which is uncommon but has a considerable morbidity rate when present. Vascular injury can be a severe complication of supracondylar fractures. With enough posterior displacement of the distal fragment, the brachial artery is subject to injury because it stretches across the fractured surface of the proximal fragment
