Hi guys,
I am confussed , should i do paid research under Phd in H1b for 2 years(neuro imaging),or do externship for 3 months in internal medicine???i can do only one i guess, if i am given a H1b research spot, then how long does it take to get H1b , inbetween the processing time can i do externship on B1???
advice please.
i have my research interview next week.

depends on your ultimate goal. If its internal medicine, externship is the way to go.
btw..if the time frames are flexible..how about trying to have finger in each pie?

Externship hands down...
Research does not weigh as much as extersnship eperience...
