Today received score 90/218………not very ‘Spectacular’ but not bad also.
Actually I expected something 93-95 but I’m happy.
As I told in my exam exp(Refer:http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/thread/49875)
my preparation was too unique as I prepared only for 4-5 months (Seriously only for 3 months) and that too part time 2-3 hrs a day as I was working for 8-10 hrs/day 6 days a week. I never took any leave and worked till the day before the examination (Returned back from work at 10:00pm on the last day!).
I was an old grad and practicing radiologist so reading Biochem, Genetics, Immuno etc was simply impossible for me!
I never read or even saw Kaplan or Goljan notes/Tapes…my only study resource was ‘First-Aid’ and Kaplan Q bank downloaded from net.
I did online ‘UW’ and was the best decision.
I took both the Q banks as learning tools and read every explanation thoroughly.
Revised FA thrice and UW twice.
Also did Q book before exam to assess myself and gave NBME form 3 about 1 ½ month back.
My scores:
Q bank 73-75%
Q book 75-80%
NBME form-3 540 Online
UW mean 60% Unused mode first attempt (Cumulative 70%)
I feel that FA is sufficient even to score 99 if given proper time(I gave only 4-5 months for part time preparation)!

Hey congrats you got done and good jobbbbbb......you did hit the 90ies
Though your nbme shows you might have been around 95 but thats the good part , you are still safely in the 90ies.
So loads n loads of congrats. I wish I could b in the 90ies too
