hi sera shiana, I bought the UW. now I need to plaan the last revision. from this review surgery anad psychiatry still remain..Im so sad. Im not well also to study that hard. today was in abit of pain so did only 150 quest.
Ok I will finish Q bank till 4th. no matter what. till 4th I'll finish surgery also..no matter what.
and on 5th I'll try managing psychiatry..so I will be less guilty.
6th NBME and then 7th the last review begins.
Going to sleep now. need to study abit more harder orelse DIE!

You guys are doing great! It is ok to have a day or two that you are not productive, even before the test. If I can improve my score in such a short time with such an anxious brain, you two can do it too!

MY FINAL REVIEW PLAN---->
I just figured out that I will be needing 23 days for the final review. cant delay the start anymore.
So tomorrow 3rd april taking NBME2.
day after 4th April will begin final review with SURGERY as first subj.
final review will include kaplan notes+ UW notes + UW quest (100/day) + Crush( 12pages/day)
I know every thing cant be as we plan..but this time it has got to be.
I left kap Q bank for the time being and will see in between if I get time to complete it...otherwise Im almost done with 60% of it and I really dont care to complete it...aggregate was 69%
Going to bed now...very anxious about last review. it has to be done on time.
dont know when I will do kap simulated and Usmle CD...will adjust some day in between
have been totally ignoring surgery and psych which have to brush up in this last chance!
goodnight to me and hope I sleep in peace and do well in NBME tomorrow. I really want a score above 550 to feel good about myself.

hey nikki its good u made a concrete plan,welli started peds,i willdo it well this time,i have been reading peds but forgeting it badly.
nikki quick q : which reading of crush is this ur's? best of luck with NBME,i am waiting eagerly for ur score,pls do share,i wud be checking GL
so i did peds kaplan text 1pm-5 from just immuno-CVS....thats not good,but i can't halp it was very slow.

well i have been having stiff back,shoulders,so i started relaxing.
i guess all 3 of us crashed now.hopefully we get welllsoon and hit books real hard and get over with CK withgreat score.

Thursday 3rd May.
Hi, shaina I just read few topics of crush at random in April..maybe 20% of it...Im consoidering it first reading..will begin afresh and do topic wise with kaplans. In end hopefully will revise one more time in 3 days. Shaina be a little faster then u have planned so that u dont lag and cover other things also taht are being left out....dont slow down..take some muscle relaxant...or relax in warm water for 30 min, its very soothing...or get some nice body massage
Very anxious..going to take NBME 2 today. will write my score at night. God plz be with me Im so over anxious and less confident. If I score well I will be very confident

ALS u r such a great inspiration for all of us. i got so impressed and motivated by your score and prep. i revised my timetable and was ready to start the action...but right now i dont
have energy for anything. but INSHALLAH i'll be back after getting better.
i have severe gastroenteritis. last night after vomiting i feel so weak. i'm feeling really sick. right now drinking lemonade. i dont feel like eating anything. but i'll get better soon INSHALLAH.

ok did NBME 2 today and scored 560.
while I was doing the test I found the quest so easy that I thought I am aiming for 550 plus but Im gonna get 600+..so I felt abit dissapointed.
No probs. I have one month to study real hard and make more improvements.
the NBME assessment is kinda weird..I got stars in all subj excpt 4-5. and seeing the score I feel I need to improve alot.
my psych, musc skeletal, derma was comparitively less good. none was in weak side though.
From tomorrw my FINAL ROUND BEGINS.
I have no idea when to take kap simulated and usmle cd..before doing final round or in between or in end....any sugestions?
Goodnight to me and sweet dreams. tomorrw begins the real performance!

that is a very good score considering you have a month left for you real test. The NBME test is easier than the real test, I had similiar feeling when I scored 630. But it is a very good predictor for the real test.,
You are in a very good shape!

ive a questions fr u..how do u guys use UW? u go through one full block or random questions? whcih way is better . i want to finsh it really quick
second qquestiosn is that when i use new questions i always get between 60 to 70. never above that . and second time i can do above 90 percent so wts teh use of doing it again? is it memorizing stuff? plz guide me how to use it.
i did kaplan q bank and 4 readings of kaplans.

thanks shaina and doc_o8. about using UW..its good to revise for memorizing. I used it subj wise..and sometimes mixed 2-3 subj at max..but not whole random. you are getting great score in first attempt. keep it up. if u can retain everything u wpnt have to revise..I did it 2 months ago sp I feel I need a revision thats why Im repeating.
even if u get over 90 percent u will be learning alot the second time I feel personally.
you are in very good postion now only dont worry u will score real high
Ok my day is almost going to be over but Im not yet half way my surgery..I started posting nbme2 quest for discussion in forum today so took time.
By the way is anyone willing to excahne answers of NBME 2?

i'm back. i feel a lot better ALHUMDULILLAH.
congrats nikki on your nbme score. just keep working hard ...u'll reach 99
yesterday i wasnt feeling well so i didnt study the whole day.actually i slept half a day. i felt better at night so started looking for answers to nbme1 q which i wasnt sure about. that didnt require that much energy.
i have to finish explanations of 100q bank q's i did the other day. and then touch some topics from here and there . i'll take nbme3 on 7th as i have to start my final review on 8th.

Saturday May 5th.
Hi everyone!
a very good morning. Yesterday I did trauma and orthopedics from kaplan book. 15 pages of Crush.
Today I have to finish the surgery highlights, UW notes of surgery ( over 80 pages) and kaplan book surgery (preop-post op care, gen surgery and pediatric surgery)...hope so.
and Crush.
thanks for ur good wishes sera, glad that u are feelling better. do take care. dont worry u will be fine. Just keep doing your best. No i did not revise psych before Nbme, but did a few q bank questions.
