Dear Friends,
I took Exam on Mar 19th and Mar 20th. First day was terrible and evrything was in a haze when i came out. One block i could not finish. Other blocks finished in the last minute. I am not sure about many questions. I though i prepared well. But exam was too difficult. 2nd day was much better. MCq's were more manageable. CCS was good i should say compared to the MCQ'S. 5 CASES ENDED early. Others were ok and i got the diagnosis right. May i might have screwed in 1 or 2 cases in management part. Iam an IMG trying to get into fellowship in H1. So i hope to clear this to get into system. I feel all ur paryers should help if iam in borderline pass category. Please dont take the exam lightly especially for people who are not in internal medicine or who have done training in USA OR who are taking exam after a long time from Part 1 and 2..

I took my exam in feb `07. My first day was average, but second day was terrible. I messed many questions and CCS cases were easy and I could finish all before time but I was not happy with 5cases coz inspite of knowing I cudn`t do well. My NBME 4 days before exam was 290.,BUT i DID TOOK MY EXAM . I passed with 77/188. I was praying only to pass. My opinion about step-3 is it really tests about how one judges clinically when a patient presents with problems/complains. I focussed studying only ck stuff and practised usmle world for 2 months, although i was fresher.I think even i was in the same way like you till i got my result, but i did pass. My belief is exam appears unsatisfying but most people i knew passed ultimately.Most importantly , I wish to suggest to other people is ,may be NBME is not correct corelation unlike other steps,atleast it proved wrong for me.I have strong hope that you will definetly clear your exam and our best wishes and prayers are with you.

Thanks Buddy. I just hope ur words come true. I just wanna pass. I also studied USMLE world sincerely for around 3 months before taking exam. I did not give NBME and Iam a IMG who gave my step 1 and 2 in 2001. I am still awaiting my result which has not yet been declared even in the website. Hope i pass. Just 75 is enough. Will keep u all informed.

No Blue... Not yet. But it has been released on 25th April. May be next week as i stay in Bahamas.

How do you know fsmb released the exam? what is the link?

U can check that IN FSMB.ORG website. Go to Member resources and click on CLICK here to get information on Exam results. Then it will take u to USMLE site where u have to enter ur USMLE ID and password. Then it will tell u when the results have been released.
