hi Anyone, PLEASE HELP
I m working as a Medical Assistant in a walk-in Clinic.. I will get one LOR from IM doc here.
How much weightage does a Medical assistant job get on my CV for Residency application??
Can anybody help? thanks.. and hw to find a research job..
I live near NIH, but have no contact to get into NIH as a research assistant. Can anybody help. thanks.

I'm also preparing for the USMLE step 1 too and I worked as a medical assistant for 9 months, I heard that u need to take a little exam for MA license and then u can work as one. In my case I was invited by a IMG family practitioner who found out that I was a doctor ( I went to her office as a patient) she offered me the job without any requisit except that my knowlegde and my interest of learning.
