1) they wont allow you to schedule the exam on the LAST day of your extended eligibility.

2)I thought the exam was grueling and long. I didnt finish the last two qs of the first block. Must admit it's such a feeling of freedom, exhilaration, accomplishment and relief when you finally finish the exam!

3)Also t I thought the lenght of of 50 or 60% of the qs were too long..

4)Dr.Fischer was OK but I thought Dr. Levy's info (Dr. Levy is a conscientious mentor) was very Hi Yield..especially when he spoke of diseases directly or indirectly related to the Weber/Rhinne testing.

5)I took the exam at 111 Livingston- Brooklyn (not a bad spot to network) if you can handle it.- it was a good testing site with good secure proctors, good security, plenty of food and parking (that was $15.00 for 10 hrs.) nearby. There is a Marriot nearby..

6)Overall evaluation.. I thought exam was doable on my evaluation at the end I stated I could have used another 5 or 10 minutes..

7)As I left the exam there was a doc from maybe outside of Russia with his wife.. Like myself he passed step 1. As I initiated dialogue.. His wife stated he had taken the step 2ck numerous times before. when I asked him if he had taken Kaplan it was as if he could barely get the words out. "I took Kaplan or I didnt take Kaplan". And the Premier course is probably too new to get feedback. Not that I took it. With the grace of the almighty hopefully we all pass..

As per request about exam prep:

Similar to DrPak. I used U.W., Kaplan notes, and First Aid.. I did not use Q bank..

Im not that familiar with it, but Premier is a new separate commercial test prep service based in the New York /New Jersey area... On the internet under the same name.. Hope this helps..

I must say that one of the strongest things about sarikas post which i echo is.. Knowing pathophysiology and immunology extrememly well is worth points!!

somebody told me that the kaplan lecture notes are the abstract of the kaplan videos is that true??

because i dont want to buy the videos and find out that i wasted my money

My personal opinion is that there is slightly more info "point wise" in the Kaplan lecture notes which are frequently updated.. The video may help in making it stick in the temporal lobe easier. I think the lecture notes are more likely to be updated.. Hope this helps.
