hello guys,
I will be visiting Newyork within ten days for personal reasons and want to make the most of it. I need USCE and i heard newyork has many oppurtunities. IS there anyone in Newyork doing Observership at some hospital? Can ypu please guide me specifically(eg names ) who do i need to see and talk to? Also what documents do they usually need to offer someone Observership Spot. I am looking something in Queens, Brooklyn, and surrounding areas accessible by subway/train.
Acc to my Own research Elmhurst Ny & jamaica newyork hospitals take people as observers but i dont have any other info. Please help i will be grateful. Thankyou

guys please help.
I fail to understand when all these hospitals in USA Donot officially offer observership, how come they ask for it every year in their requirements. Also i couldnt help but wonder when you post a question like this, noone answers or replies vaguely(like contact your local hospitals but that isnt rocket science right!) but when you go thru forums during match season almost every FMg who happened to be in USA mentions their long list of USCE. I just cant comprehend why would people hide this info when they already have matched and will in no way harmed by helping others! People Plz share info!

i sooo understand your frustration...in the same boat here...but what i realized is that it is not easy to find observership in NY...for some reason, don't know it
also, one of my friends, who went trough match this year told me that he heard (he matched in NY hospital) that observership is in some ways illigal (couldn't be more specific though....
so, i am very confused and lost at this time
