hello all.. CRP is used as a diagnostic test for wat all scenarios.. one is Rheaumatic fever i think.. wat else???

also.. it is secreted frm wat site??(i dont knw if its cell/organ etc)

the liver produces the c reactive proteine is one of the hundred acute phase proteins

hey crp is an acute phase reactant......it will be raised in all inflammatory and infectious diseases n its very non specific..... and since its an acute phase reactant i think it is produced by liver.....

CRP is used mainly as a marker of inflammation. Measuring and charting C-reactive protein values can prove useful in determining disease progress or the effectiveness of treatments.
