hi! at what trimester it is safe for fetus to take iron in prenataal vitamins as i have seen a research that says that iron supplement in early pregnancy CAN LEAD TO DEATH OF FETUS.

I was informed that fe is taken from 2nd trimester to avoid the hyperemesis that can occur in first trimester due to irritation of the stomach.
