Hi all,
Currently I am applying for research positions hoping it will help me to match next year. But i heard that they will have interview process before recruiting. I am completely new to this research thing. Anyone with experience plz guide me, how to prepare for this kind of IV? usually what kind of q s they ask during iv?

Anu,
This will be more of a typical job interview. Obviously u should know some thing about the PI and kind of research he does, his papers etc. Other than that its will be ur communication skills if this is a clinical research. If its a bench research then they will be interested in knowing if you have any experience with PCR, West Blott etc. Be ur self and be thorough with the kind of research the lab does. U should be fine! Good Luck!

I had interview. They asked me about my research - how long, what exactly I did, etc... and then they asked me why I've applied to their research project, what I expect from them and how long I plan to stay with them.

What did you wear for the interview ,i have a similar interview on friday?
Did they ask you any related medical questions like Lab tests ,etc?
I am going to a liver research doc.
