what do they do if a person has moved from a previous address. do they return the mail to the sender and in how many days.

They will forward to your new address if you have filled out their official change of address form. They will return the mail to the sender if your name is not recognized in your old address. They will return the mail to the sender, if there is an instruction not to forward the mail.

thanks a lot. do u have any idea how much time will they take to retuen the mail when the mail was sent within new york. i mean the wrong address was in new york and sender is also in new york.
