hi
would somemone with step 3 cleared apply for a temp Illinois license? or would that be permanent physician license.
Illinois has one year requirement before applying for step3 from their board..but what if someone has a S3 cleared from another state..tried to go thru their site, but couldnt find info

if you already passed S3, good luck with your residency then wherever that is, Illinois or elsewhere. It doesn't matter where you passed your S3!

1.whats the psych rotation requirement for illinois licensure.2 weeks or 4?
2.does the time spent in psych as an intern count towards this?

1. I think the requirement is 40 hours.
2. that's something you need to ask your PC.

you're welcome, platinum...the requirement must be mentioned somewhere and the PC should know exactly where this requirement is mentioned. You doing a Psychiatry residency?

the packet PC sent didnt contain..someone in GME said it maybe 4 weeks! i have 2 weeks of rotations plus 2 internship..hope that meets the requirements.
and yes i am not going for a psych res.

I stand corrected...it is 4 weeks...and your 2 weeks + 2 weeks should be OK.
