Hello NNL,
I just want to ask if you think that BRS physio can give me any thing extra on Kaplan physio other than the neuro part?
Do you have any idea why Kaplan physio ddnt consider CNS physiology? we studied this topic alone for almost 4 months at school!

i havent done BRS physio, I have Ganong and quite Frankly i havent touched much of Neurophysio from it cos most of this is not HY and wht ever is HY is covered thru NA and Pathology.

 every1 has 2 look up things sometime ,,,u dont have 2 tell aboiut these things
i dont believe any1 is reading it cover 2 cover 4 usmle purpose ,,however in many medschools it is the recomended textbook

If u do Kaplan Physio Q bank u will find almost word to word in Ganong ( concepts). I have been stressing this for a very long time Instead of BRS Pick Ganong and u will see the difference and moreover it more depends which books u have studied from in Medschool, I had used Ganong so it was easy for me but if someone hasnt they might find BRS good or easy to digest. It totally depends on person reading the books.
Y ppl dont say cos they fear that someone else will be able to take up their jobs do u know If it werent for the IMGs the American Medical wud have crashed cos their Docs wud have raised their prices. Some ppl think if they discourage a number fo first timers by Audacious scores and relevantly absurd study techniques then they can increase their chances of Selection... Weird Ppl !!

Can't agree more, but it's the worst , true attitutude, personality of almost all Doc or med student , even most med teachers every where in the world, even back home, gush .. ego , selfish mentality by that way to keep their job, power , position high one, title etc , instead of be study hard, or not with own IQ high or low with own talent, unique quality as u as Doc or Med student .
Sorry mate, if the words are harsh , just delete , ok with me , but it's old true mentality of med school, Doc fields & ppl still carry it , instead of be united [ like other proffesional] help each other be a good exm taker at least to pass , good Doc too while in residency , attending.

Just wanted to wish you luck as you are just few days away from it. I know you have prepared really very very well and surely you will add to the 99 club.
On exam day when you sit in front of the screne just relax for 1-2 mins take few deep breaths and then start off. You will feel quite relaxed.

Well i m like i m tired i cant drag this anymore and i just wanna give it cos i m have given my best shot at studying and i m also gonna give my best shot to the exm. besides i cant study anymore its a pure mental block like a Bank Vault of Fort Knox. Impenetrable. So i have convinced myself that anymore studying wud be disasterous and deterimental to me and state of mind things start to get jumbled up. So Relax Take ur Time Work with Questions Short Cuts on how get the questions right esp the ones of Biostats and Epi cos they r the worst.
