Tell me about it, that all ruin, delay my momentum , study schedule & timing, lost track, so my sis inlaw just read one book each now in practice for ages, me still searching , dl [ not any more ] to get more books even buying from book store.
If just kaplan , & kaplan i will be done for so many times with my wondering time, search, read others without having time for kaplan.
Should have know alot of friends get 90 plus score with kaplan & goljan , may be FA & in residencies already or need few more exm only .
So NnL ........ I was going to venture making notes, which I never did in my life , in , according to you may be, just read & read Q & Q instead of making notes, cards I will never read , what do you think??

Agree with all you said, move on, do not prep too long, will end up at new neighbour looks alike though is same neighbour with same name, that looks new , stranger to you cause we are there long ago & forget about it already.

Thats THe Exact Idea If u r gonna Make Notes Select the Important Point and then Move on, dont Write a Thesis over it. It aint gonna help.Whtever i have learnt so far is by Doing Questions Some of them from MRCP even.
But i still wud recommend to go thru Robbins if u have time for Path esp General , Male & Female Genital Tracts and CNS and Ganong for Physio as its a good book .

You means big Robin for the topics you've mentioned . Then which topics for Ganong ? , isn't kaplan have more than enough , which MRCP books ?
I have alot of Thesis , even on Cur Med D & T  , & all flash card

From Ganong Mostly i refered to was for Endo, Renal and Respi. I did MRCP questions.

Ok Lets C if i can finish the target for today that is to wrap up Hematology with Pappi and do some questions.
Apparently there is somethig called the Pol Gene which is mutated in the HARRT therapy for AIDS. Its Mutated How i m gonna figure it out.

Ok this is the info i have accumulated so far is that the POL Gene is responsible for the Protease and Reverse Transcriptase Enyzme encoding and regulation. the following is a good article if any needs to read it and understand the HIV virus

MRCP = Member of Royal College Of Physician UK. the Questions r essentially the same but its the way they ask like if u run out of question they can be a good source to kill ur entire thought process cos they ask u things which r remotely related and thus therefore making u kind efficient in answering questions. I have even posted some of the questions here on the forum which i found relevant.

here Iam stuggling to finish just UW ...And I can t even find time to write another NBME
I wanted to read ur experience so badly before my test....
I wonder if I can safely postpone my test and still get results before sept 1st ? Any idea how late Can i take step 1 to get results in time .. thanks

Well it normally takes them 3 wks to post ur scores unless they go thru major delays which will be faced by all. Approximately u need to give it by 3rd wk of July to get ur scores before Sept 1st.
So u need to give it around that time if u r planning for this yr's Match. Otherwise it depends on ur prep. And as far as i go i think no one does go into the Exm thinking they have done everything, they go thinking there is nothing that i cud have done other than wht i have done.

No MAtter How many So Called Awesome Experiences or Horribly Nightmarish Experiences u have read it doesnt matter. U have to deal with the Demons on that Day Urself u may find them easy u may find them hard. its ur prespective and ur look at the exm. If for eg someone has done a extremely good in Path and poorly in Beh. Sc. that person is gonna remmember almost every question from that part of th eexm cos out 350 question almost 100 will stick to ur mind and u have to weed out the experimental ones too.

yeah i think u are right ..its me who matters ..Iam kindof low on confidence right now ...
I'll give another NBME and see wht happens...
I guess its different for CS prep..becoz all I did then was read and read all the experiences out there ...and it helped.
So far everyone told me to stick to 23rd july ....I was wishing atleast someone will suggest me to postpone ....becoz thats what I wanted. anyway ...wishful thinking wont help much. I'll just stick to my date then ...thanks ..
how I wish that prometric called me too ...hope their server breaks out
