Hey guys, Finally done with ck got my result's and i scored a 99 so pretty much mappy bout it but here as one exam get's over the worry for the other begins so started worrying for cs. The exam was pretty ok but I got a feeling that as the blocks passed by the length of the questions kept gettin bigger and bigger (literally) so I'd suggest everyone to get into the habbit of highlighting the key point's you see in the questions coz you definitly forget what u read in the begining by the time you reach the end and as Goljan say's "always read the last statement first". One more thing is that i'd ask everyone to read the goljan notes used in step one over and over and over coz that's one thing that really reenforces your concept's. Dont worry much bout the exam do as much as you can and stick to a schedule you are comfortable with not what other's tell you, get a good night elssp and go for the exam with the thinking that you have studied for it. And oh almost forgot i read kaplan notes, that goljan note's and did the usmle world and kaplan's qbank and that was it nothing else..... so GOOD LUCK and do well. Also i'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me anytin bout cs exam and if there r any partner's in mumbai for the time being for practicing the cases. Thanks.

hey thanks well the questions actually keep changing according to the block you get so it's really diff for diff ppl. so can't really say. Also just be calm during the last few day's and just relax no amount of last minute muggin's gona help so get u r basics straight from the begining.. ye's the questions were like UW and kaptest coz after solving so many questions all look alike.......lol and Nbme just kinda give's you a level as to how much you are prepared

Mauricio: You'll do great. Hold your horses, though, don't be anxious, OK? Good luck!

first of all congratulations on clearing the exam i found out i did not pass the step 2 ck i got 177 wjhich is five points away from passing i used only kaplan notes and usmleworld now i am using different books but usmleworld could you give me some advice on how to pass. anyway i have passed the step 2 cs already what i would recomend to you is take one full month to study. I personally used only first aid and usmleworld and practiced cases daily with my girlfriend who is now my exgirlfrind. If you use those resources well you will pass. Also be sympathetic during the whole exam and do not come off as arrogant that is it hope this helps

yhea i did take nbme and it corelated pretty well with it i dont rememeber how much it was but i got more on my mle than the nbme predicted and that goes for both step one and two. well i have basically given the two exams 6 months appart but the real studying was done in about 3 months i guess. I guess it just depends on what kinda of a reader you are and how well you pick up things, as per me i'm slow so i guess i took more time than what other's take. like i said you have to adjust according to what u r comfortable and not just go by what others are doing.
