I am IMG who lives in California. I will be starting the residency in July (Miami) and I would like to take Step 3 before residency starts. If I get California license, is it valid in Florida? Please share info. Thanks!

No. It's a California license, not Florida. Can you take step 3 in CA, and use the results in FL? If the USMLE board says that you can, you can.
