the child didnt need anything except for the fact -an assisted removal from water.
she breathes and coughs.So she was ok without rx!
i go for A

kaplam say even if the patient appears comfortable initially, observation should be continued for 24 h because ARDS may develop as a late finding.

The Ans is A--->Complete recovery

I Agree ARDS is a risk but look at the quest, It clearly states the most likely outcome, and this should never be ARDS as the most likely outcome in this case would be Complete recovery, if the quest asked whats the best next step, it will be monitor in hospital setting, record ABGs at admission & serially afterwards to detect any decline indicating the patient's compromise

2 years old, alert, oriented - it was laringospasm, full recovery.
Otherwise fresh water rush to the blood, osmolarity goes down, swelling of sells and - hemolysis.
