Oh yes, if you are a star you can get an iv at MGH and BWH... they DO take the best of the best IMGs... as a matter of fact the IM program at MGH seemed to take pride in having residents from 66 different countries from all around the globe over the past 100 years.... However it does NOT make them IMG friendly. Boston in reality is not IMG friendly since it IS VERY popular among AMGs which leaves us with few spots. It is not impossible, but very tough. However; if you have amazing credentials (esp publications in VERY prestigious papers like science and nature) I don't care where you graduated from you can easily land a spot in Boston in MGH or in BWH even without connections or obeserverships... It is an open platform for the very best... and for the very fortunate....
