ERROR IN STEP 1 SCORE REPORT????

well, i got a score of 227/95............

but a score of 95 corresponds to a three digit score of 234 or 235,.....so is it possible to have such a score or there can be some error in the score report as well???????

ANYBODY WHO KNOWS PLEASE REPLY SO THAT I SHOULD CONTACT ECFMG IF THERE R CHANCES OF ERROR IN THE REPORT..........

it is ok the thing is that your test was more difficult well... i guess
are u in US maninder???? when did you take the test? when did you score report arrived home??

I guess the relation between the 2 and 3 digit scores isn't liniar... a score of 95 can be reported with a score of 227 or 235, also I've seen a score of 235 reported with a score of 95 and 99...

I guess one of the scores is related with the number of Qs answered right and the other to the difficulty of the right answered Qs as well as the percent of Qs answered right of each subject... I hope you could folow what I said.. 'cause I feel it's mind blowing sticking out tongue

i hav enoteds tat for ppl who r talking the exam after ist jan the two scores correlation has changed
now the minimum passing score is 185
at the same time now 99 starts from 236
the coressponding three digit score have come down

my observation is based on score thread on this forum

i think the score what u get depends on the difficulty of the exam, ur exam might have been tougher than ur friends,so even u got 3 digit score less than ur friend ur 2 digit score is higher.i think 95 is better than 93.
