my name is naila i,m from pakistan and 2004 grad.i sit for step1 on 12 march took 2 days for the rest and started residency in obstetrics thereafter.my exam experince is the same which i was expecting as thanks god i was both physically and mentally prepared.i took 8 hours sleep a nght before.my husband also had step1 exam on the same day we reached prometrc center 1 hour earlier and our exam started at 9 am.my husbands an mine exam went well mashallah.both of us got different questions but surprisingly from all same topics.
i completed most of the blocks 10 15 minutes earlier so i had more than enough break time and  so did my husband .most of the questions were easy and workable some required brain storming but were doable quite few of qs flew over my head as i expected.
most of my exam comprised pathlogy and physiology .not many calculations many doctor pt relation questions.graphs and charts were easy..i,m writing some of
the topics from which i got qs as i wrote them the day after my exam hoping that it will help u people.

hey yasmin gud luck for ur result i am doc sadaf from pakistan 2005 graduate giving exam next week. which books did u use? was histology and embryology tested? where did u do cts mris biostatics and molecular biology from? waiting for ur reply

THANKS TO BTH OF U.THERE WERE NOT MANY QS FROM HISTO AND EMBRYOLOGY.I ONLY SAW GROSS BRAIN SCANS FROM AN ATLAS.NO I DID,NT DO NBME BUT IT WILL HELP U TO ASSESS URSELF I DID Q BANK.

I ONLY DID BOARD SIMULATOR AND KAPLAN Q BANK.I DIDN,T DO NBME AND UW BUT I CAME ACROSS MANY NBME QS IN THIS FORUM.I THINK KAPLAN ALONG WITH FIRST AD PLUS GOING THRU BRAINCTS AND MRI R ENOUGH TO GET GOOD SCORE.BRS BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE IS ALSO GOOD.I,M ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR THE RESULT.WILL MEET U ON STEP2 FORUM.I,LL ANSWER WATEVER U PPL ASK ABOUT THIS EXAM .

both of us got our score a week back mine is 218/90 my husbands, is 218/90 although its lesser than wat we expected bud thanks got we got reasonable score.this forum helped me a lot in my studies good luck to u all
