How come I have not been asked for passport copies and visa copies... my H1b petition has been filed already. Infact, I have not even provided my passport's number..

I-94 is only necessary if you are doing the paperwork in the US.

moozy i was specifically asked for passport copies. however when i was reseraching a month back, i also thought that passport info is not required. even my friend who matched in illinois wasn't asked for that. did they ask u for any photograph. i am surprised that they i havn't been asked. maybe program provides it.

I called my lawyer. Apparently my paper work is complete and I do not have to send the passport or visa copies. People filing from within US are required to send these stuff.
