We are using now a cache feature for guests only on our forums.
The program makes a copy of what the a page looks for guests and stores all info into a folder without quering the database on each page view. The cached page is updated once every 20 guests views.
The result is that browsing prep4usmle site is now faster and server load is much less.
Guests will not see uptodate forum messages but a slight older version.
Members are not affected at all by this upgrade.
Some features were disabled for guests like seeing the online green light indicator next to members name. Also I think the correct number of guests online is not accurate.
Please report if you notice any other problems.
