In AIDS patient complaining of cough, u suspect a case of TB. The Montoux test is done. Which of the following is correct?

A.. if Montoux test is positive, TB is unlikely
B..if test is negative at 24 hours,it excludes the diagnosis
C.. 0.5mm macula is a positive reaction
D.. Start anti TB
E.. positive test after 72 hours support the diagnosis

best choic is E. but let me say that we never use MT test to dx active T.B it is only use for screening high risk pt.

for active tb we can do sputum AFB smear and culture 3 samples and CXR.
