Mitral valve regurgitation murmer where does it happens on cardiac cycle ? and all the other murmurs....????? During systole , right...so taht will b in isovol.contraction ? b.c soon as MV closes, we have isovol,contraction...if it is insufficient then that means mitral valve is not closing and during contraction we'll hear a murmur???

u r right.. it occurs during systole.. at the time that isovolumetric contraction should occur.. only thing is.. in MR, the contraction does not remain isovolumetric

yes it occur during early systole though it depends on severity can be pansystolic.in isovolumetric contraction the pressure in ventrice inc. but since aortic valve still closed blood passes through MR and gives murmur. best heard on inspiration
