Hello everyone,

I have following situation: I want to register for CS exam, but in the city I want to take the CS there are no places available at this moment. If I register somewhere else, transfer money etc.. complete registration, and then suddenly after few weeks there's a place available in the city I intially wanted to take an exam, is it possible to change the test location and switch my registration to this city?

Thanks,

O-pos

Yes you can. Read the Rescheduling item here http://www.ecfmg.org/2007ib/ibexam.html#schedul

Thanks.

The CS applicants in my country often get visa denials for CS. So I'm thinking to use other formal rason to enter USA to take CS. If I mark "request visa letter" in registration process, I'm interested whether US Consulate in my country also will receive a simultaneous copy? That's important issue for me because I want that letter only for backup as a plan B, but as a plan A probably I'll be going not to mention about usmle and go to USA for other formal reason. In this case I don't want the consular dpt to have the copy of the ECFMG visa letter.

So, does the consulate have the copy of the letter?
