Hello
I am an IMG and have been preparing for my CK for 6 months now. I started sep 25th with kaplan live lecture course in new york city and finished it in late december. Then I began to study on my own after christmas. I did Q bank of kaplan initially and finished it with an average of 66%. (not very good) I kept studying hoping to improve and spent 12 hrs a day studying since late janurary till now and took an exam in january (nbme) to see my improvement and got a 390 and was depressed, then my girlfriend broke up with me and really killed me and i spent a few days thinking and then got back on my feet and started studying even more. I registered for usmle world and wacthed videos daiy and did questions as well as read secrets for step 2 ck and first aid. Then i was feeling more comfortable and initially scoring a 64-65% average on usmle world and took my nbme form 2 which seemed pretty difficult and got a 490. (That was about a month ago) I have spent the last 3-4 weeks since my last nbme only studying the parts i have not been scoring well on, focusing on my nbme weaknesses as well as taking 2 daily usmle world exams in timed mode and unused questions and going over the right and wrong questions. I also sprained my ankle last week so I am studying with a brace and my foot elevated on the study table and things just couldnt get any worse and I just laugh but it keeps me studying because I cant get up!!! hahha. anyhow, i decided not to take another nbme b/c im sure i will pass although i really hope to God i get over a 90 on this exam because my step 1 I only got an 85. I am scoring 71,66,69 on my last eams and avg for last few exams on usmle world has been about an 67.5 (not very good because i believe you need over 70% to get a 90) anyhow, would somebody tell me if I am preparing well and if they have any idea how well I am going to do on this exam? Please help...
exam is in 7 days and starting to stress out..

I appreciate Ur "Never say give up" Attitude.
Why don't U visit the Usmle step 2 score thread....there r people with 50-60 score in UW & aced with a 99.
Ur score does'nt seem so bad afterall.
GL 4 everything in life.
