the Mechanism of resistance is increasing the drug efflux, changed sensitivity of topoisomerase II and IV.


principals side effects are phototoxicity, GI distress, tendonitis and tendon rupture
contraindicated in pregnancy and children( effect on collagen metabolism and cartilage development
