i agree w/asmi, 1st branchial arch since it innervated by Trigeminal nerve-which provides sensation to the face

I like this q because you can extrapolate as last resort if you cant name the what comes from branchial arches But one must know the arches of branchialmeric origin namely V,VII, IX,X. SVE component of CN V accompanies mandibular nerve passes f.ovale. Inervates m. of mastication, mylohyoid, ant.-digastric,tensor typani and veli palatini . muscles that move the jaw, lateral and medial pterygoids. answer to q***V3 exits f.ovale. Its sensory component (GSA) ineervates lower lip, chin, posterior temple, ext.auditory meatus, tympanic membrane, ext.ear, teeth of lower jaw, oral mucosa of cheek, floor of mouth, ant 2/3 of tongue.TM joint, cranial dura!!
