Shouldnt it b: " to provide better health care" ? b.c of a lot of reasons....Pt might go to the cardio doc when he is thyrotoxic b/c of beta adrenergic effects....???? So the patient cant know that his problem REALLY is some cardiac problem b.c he's not a doctor..right? so he has to go thru a family doc so that he'll be refered to the APPROPRIATE specialist by the fam. doc. A bit confused though...
