2 yr boy bought to physician because of fever and listlessness for 12 hrs.he has had recurrent episodes of pnuemonia and otitis media over past year.2 maternal uncles died of pneumonia in early childhood.1 yr agao,he was 50th percentile for height n weight.he is currently at 25th percentile ffor height n 10th percentile for weight.appears ill.temp 39c, bp 60/40mmhg, pulse 160/min,resp 36/min.examn shows cool n mottled extremities.blood culture shows streptococcus pneumoniae.serum ige,igg,igm levels markedly decreased.which is the diagnostic test likely to be abnormal?
